Suporte a Sistemas Operacionais “Guest” no Hyper-V Windows Server 2012

Sem duvida é importante para todo administrador de nuvens baseadas em Hyper-V saber quais sistemas operacionais podem ser instalados em máquinas virtuais baseadas neste hypervisor. Vejam que a lista de SOs “Guest” aumentou perante o Windows Server 2008 R2.

Vejam a lista abaixo:

Em se tratando de Linux, vale citar que o fato de uma distribuição não estar neste lista, não significa que não funcione. Apenas não tem o suporte da MS. O Ubuntu 12.4 agora possui suporte, mas já funcionava no Hyper-V no Windows Server 2008 R2, inclusive sem a necessidade de instalação de IC, pois já vem de forma nativa no kernel. Testei essa distribuição no ano passado e inclusive publiquei um post sobre.

O Fedora 18, assim como o Ubuntu 12.4, também funciona sem a necessidade instalação de IC conforme evidência abaixo. Instalei tanto a versão x86 quanto x64 em uma VM no Hyper-V 2012.
